Cabin & Configurations

Passenger

Up to 19 seats with a 1+2 layout, a central aisle and a rear baggage compartment.

Cargo

Seats removed; large rear door and reinforced floor with tie-down rails.

Combi

Mixed passenger and cargo with a movable bulkhead or net.

Special mission

Medevac, skydiving, aerial survey, surveillance and VIP conversions.

Why it matters operationally

STOL & rough field

High-wing, rugged gear and large flaps allow short and unpaved runway operations.

Hot & high power

Flat-rated H85-200 maintains power at high temperature and altitude.

Flexible cabin

Passenger, cargo, combi, skydiving, medevac, and surveillance conversions.

Operating Limitations

Consolidated from AFM Section 2 (Do-L410NG-1210.2) as printed in the L410 wiki digest. For study only: the current approved AFM, its amendments for your serial number, and operator procedures always take precedence.

Key numbers

Do not use this page for flight planning or performance calculation. The maximum permissible take-off weight is the lowest value from the WAT curves, field length and flight-path data in AFM Section 5, subject to Section 2.

Emergency & Abnormal Procedures

Digest of AFM Section 3 (Emergency) and Section 3A (Abnormal), Do-L410NG-1210.2, via the L410 wiki. Steps marked ★ are memory items: act immediately, then confirm with the checklist.

Study aid only. In the aircraft, fly the approved AFM and the aircraft checklist (Do-L410NG-1210.2-KL), not this page. Variable speeds (V1, VR, V2) come from AFM Section 5.

Key speeds & definitions

Land as soon as practical

Site and flight duration at pilot's discretion. Extended flight beyond the nearest approved landing area is not recommended.

Land as soon as possible

Land without delay at the nearest suitable area (for example an open field) where a safe approach and landing is assured.
